We offer digital mammography which uses computers and specially designed digital detectors to produce high resolution images. We recognize the importance of comfort, so we provide every patient with a soft foam pad that creates a cushion between you and the machine, to ensure your mammogram will be warm and comfortable.
Other imaging services include bone density, ultrasound, and 3-T Breast MRI which enable us to perform all tests relevant to your needs.
Stereotactic, ultrasound guided, and 3-T MRI guided biopsies are all performed by our director of women’s imaging to ensure the most accurate results. Soft Digital Mammo
For women who want a mammogram with less discomfort, Buffalo MRI is proud to be a Softer Mammogram Provider. Our facility provides every woman with the MammoPad breast cushion for free!
Ultrasound
Breast Ultrasounds will be performed in the comfortable atmosphere of our ultrasound suite.
3T and Open Breast MRI
Your Breast MRI will be performed on our state of the art 3T magnet with a specially designed, 16 channel, breast coil. For claustrophobic patients, your MRI will be performed or on our 1T Open MRI machine.
Breast Biopsies
Breast Biopsies are a simple and safe procedure performed in the office by our team of breast imaging specialists. We offer three types of breast biopsies depending on the recommendation of the radiologist.
Bone Density (DEXA)
Bone density scanning is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss. DEXA is today's established standard for measuring bone mineral density (BMD).
